| Just the time it took to develope all the eletronics and etc. Maybe you can take an EVO and dump a bunch of cash in it and make it close. But then again if it just a track car there is alot of light weight custom cars that can be made fast. Like an Ultima or a Noble, Superlite, and etc. I saw a Video just now an Ultima GTR that ran Top Gears track in 1.12 beating the top leader a CCX with a big win which only a 1.17 thats 5 secs faster than the fastest they had. The GTR is car you can take your kids to school, wax the seats with your women in the back in the front and hell you can even try in the trunk (if you women is into that kind of thing), go to the track and still go out and party all nite. Building a well rounded sports car is fairly difficult thing to do. I think the Nissan GTR really has set standard for all cars to follow. Now all the GTR need is to get on a Diet and loose an extra 600 lbs :-P
